Debris is part of the plan, not an afterthought
Logs and small branches are not handled the same way. Trunks and larger limbs are cut into sections, then stacked, hauled, broken down, or left for firewood if you have the space and time to split and season them. Smaller limbs and brush go through the chipper. We recycle our wood chips.

Get the cleanup scope in writing
Many disappointing tree jobs come down to unclear cleanup. A written cleanup scope should name what is included:
- Wood chips, and whether they stay, are spread or are hauled
- Bark and branches
- Stump grindings
- A final pass to rake and blow the work area clean
Fresh chips also need room to settle. If they are spread too early, they can shift or darken in a bed, so we plan where they go before the work starts.
The completion walk-through
A clear walk-through at the end is what turns a cut tree into a finished, usable yard. We go over the work area with you before we leave, so anything missed gets fixed while the crew is still there.
Where debris removal helps
- Storm cleanup after limbs and trees come down
- Lot and property cleanup, including brush
- Tree removal and trimming jobs, as part of the estimate
- Commercial properties that need to reopen fast
Debris removal and the environment
Wood chips are useful. Recycled chips make mulch for beds and paths and help hold moisture around plants. We recycle every load of our wood chips.
Questions about debris removal
What does debris removal include?
That is spelled out in your written estimate. It should say whether chips, bark, branches, stump grindings and a final cleanup pass are covered. If something is not listed, ask us to add it.
Can I keep the wood chips for mulch?
Yes. Tell us before the crew arrives and we will plan where they go. Fresh chips need room to settle, and spreading them too early can cause them to shift or darken in a bed.
Can I keep the logs for firewood?
Yes, if you have the space and the time to split and season them. Otherwise we haul them away.
Do you only haul debris from your own jobs?
Debris removal is a service of its own. Tell us what you have, such as storm cleanup or a lot with brush, and we will quote it.
